The recipe is simple and with just an ability to grate cheese and watch the oven on broil, this delicious snack was and is a comforting standby.
Grated orange cheddar, Keen's Dry Mustard, dried parsley and an egg or two. Mix together and spoon it over white bread. These days I use freshly chopped parsley from the garden and good bread - slices of boule from Fol Epi artisan bakery are perfect vehicles.
